In a recent appearance by Home Affairs and Immigration Minister Tony Burke on The Pawan Luthra Podcast, Burke made a case that Australia effectively can no longer function without immigration in several important ways.
“So effectively, we can’t run our health system or build the houses that we need without immigration now.”
“Economically, we need immigration. We need the skills, we need the people.” Burke said
