For over 15 years, the people of Britain have been promised lower migration, and time after time, the British people have gone to the polls and voted for just that.
According to polling from Ipsos, at the time of the Brexit vote, over 40% of Britons said that immigration was the most important issue facing their country.
It was a major driver for the British people to choose to exit the EU, with proponents of Brexit claiming that the UK would “take back control” of it’s migration program from Brussels and finally make good on the promises of the Conservative Party to dramatically slash migration levels.
